    Hi Guys
    May I ask a question from anyone who has got this recent 2 set publication, is there anything regarding hunting and shooting in these books?
    Anybody any recommendations for third reich hunting memorabilia books?
    Any information gratefully received.

    Dear Steve,
    I am responding to your question regarding my book set, "Sport and the Third Reich". I did attempt to include information regarding shooting and hunting; however, as you might imagine, the term "sport" has vast implications. I began this project with the false perception that covering the topic of sport in Germany during the time of the Third Reich would not be all that difficult! Can you imagine? Well, after about 13 pounds of book, I began to realize that I was in a virtual bottomless pit, and I had to start drawing some lines. My publisher, Schiffer, was very understanding. Right up to the last possible minute, they were allowing me to add things. Every day brought new discoveries. Since the books came out, I have discovered many new and important things related to this subject.
    With that said, there is information in my books related to hunting and shooting, but I fear that if you buy my book set only for the purpose of these areas of competition, you would be disappointed. I am planning a third volume, perhaps! I would like to cover shooting, hunting, climbing, skiing, cycling, horse racing, and God knows what else in more depth!
