A great new book on Marseille-The Star of Africa

    Hi folks,
I just bought this book yesterday after reading another great book and must read this summer-A Higher Call (that also has several chapters about Marseille in it).

The new book is called The Star of Africa ($30) and so far I like it very much. BTW, I bought my copy off of E-bay brand new for $13.72 (that included shipping) so it pays to shop around. I ordered it on Wednesday and I got it in the mail on Monday.

I highly recommend this book and the book A Higher Call (BTW, I bought my book A Higher Call at Costco)as well. Two great books for the summer reading list.

    Regards,
    Jody

Is it the same book? The reason I ask is that Gunther Rall died in 2009 and this book was published in 2012.

The 1957 movies was enjoyable as well. Purchased on DVD (BW German w/ English subtitles) Accompanied with nice rumba themed music.

How are the uniforms and aircraft in it? Did they use Me-108's for 109s (as occurred in a certain movie we all remember).
