I've done that, and I don't get any full episodes, only a small clip or two.

It's likely a regional thing. When I type "world at war 4" it gives me the 50 min episode 4...

                World at War

Yo Paddy, not really what you were looking for, but I bought the dvd set at an xtra vision store in Dublin a few months back, has all new extras included. Kids were ready to have a great laugh at me when I told them I watched it in the 70s, they thought the format would be really old fashioned but they were well impressed with it...if you can't find it for free you might want to part with some cash for the whole set, it was about 35 euro I think....

Be careful there is a horribly butchered "Digitally Restored" Pan & Scan version floating around. Try and get the "original" DVD boxset release if you can.
At Rathau on the Aller, the CO of 5th Royal Tanks advanced on foot to take a cautious look into the town before his tanks moved in. He encountered one of his own officers, a huge Welshman named John Gwilliam who later captained his country's rugby team, 'carrying a small German soldier by the scruff of his neck, not unlike a cat with a mouse.' The Colonel said: 'Why not shoot him?' Gwilliam replied in his mighty Welsh voice: 'Oh no, sir. Much too small.'

I think they did that to the bluray boxset version too which is a huge shame.

                        World at war

Hi Paddyw, I got it at the Nutgrove shopping ctr D16. But as you prob know they seem to be running their stocks down although I hear there is someone taking over the stores now. I would assume they have a central location where your local store could check availability on the computer. This edition is a box set with 11 dvd discs, 26 episodes from the original series and 12 additional special features inc . The making of the series/secretary to Hitler/from war to peace/warrior/Hitlers Germany, the peoples community 1933-39, Total war 1939-45, the two deaths of Adolf Hitler. the final solution part 1, and 2, making of the series, experience of war, restoring the world at war. Its been digitally restored and remastered by Fremantle media enterprises.
                        Hope you get it !
