Germany Soldiers (Ich Hatt Einen Kameraden) - Video Dailymotion

Hello, I saw this video on the Internet:
    http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xeo...c#.UZ4ZPaJSg0F
Can you give me the name of the city? the name of monuments (Arc de Triomphe) and the church?
    The date of the ceremony?
There are seven coffins, do you know what these people are dead? Are acts of war or terrorist attacks?
Do you know the articles on this event?
    Thank you in advance. Sponti

SPONTI

      Hi.

This was filmed in front of the Feldherrenhalle, Munich, where the killed Nazi Perty members of the "Munich Putsch" were interred.
The USA thought about destroying this monument after WW2, (the remains of the Nazi "martyrs" were disinterred and disposed of) but decided not to destroy it.
It remains today, as a meeting place and a social arena for concerts etc.
Was there a few years ago, wanted to take photos of my partner walking down the steps between the lion statues, to create a "then and now" image; as I have pre-war photos of a Stug commander and his girlfriend.
Unfortunately was unable to do this, as technicians were setting up for a music concert!
      Great city Munich
      Really hot in August though!

      Best wishes,

      John.
