I am very pleased too see that a book concerning Erwin Bartmann is finally to be published, as he certainly is an interesting character.

A few years ago now I spent an afternoon with Erwin recounting his experiences and recollections. He has a pin sharp memory and a sense of humour that you can only admire.

If the book is a fraction as good as the stories he recalled from his memory that day, it will definatly be one not to be missed.

          Regards Richard.
Always looking for Luftwaffe Kampfflieger related document groups. In particular anything to Kampfgeschwader 2.

Thanks for the head's up on these Klaus.

The Erwin Bartmann book sounds great although I wonder what the Kursk book is going to bring new to the table that hasn't been covered in any of the other books on Kursk and Prochorovka that have come out over the last couple of years.
