Apart from the sad fact that Germany was a far more free country and society in the 1970s than that it is now, Mr. Carius is wrong. There is no ban YET on books about the Second World War, but I would not put it behind some of the so-called politicians in Germany to at least introduce a bill that such books should not be published if written by former German participants in said war since they were all "murderers and killers" and therefore criminals.

Everytime I am in Germany I am immensely surprised how brain-washed the generation past 1990 really is. Goebbels would be oh so proud of the new controllers of thinking.
