Has anyone read SS Polezi, Memoirs of Poland?

I was wondering if this was a true account, not because of the information given, just that if it was real, it would of made bigger waves as a first hand account of the atrocities committed. I thought those did not exist and in relative terms, very few pieces of documentation existed in relation to the scale of the acts committed. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. It is a very hard read, I am former Army Infantry and I had a hard time reading it so I would not recommend spending the $20 on it unless you have a strong constitution.

i've read it.

the author has written a non-fiction book on police battalions at the eastern front and used that knowledge to write this fictional account.

it seems reasonably presented.. but the numerous typos, spelling and grammatical errors become quite distracting.

I have it.

I think the author has been clear that this is an amalganation of stories he has heard or been told with some artistic licence.

The bits that may have turned be difficult are probably true.

Read 'Ordinary Men' by Christopher Browning which is considered a good book on the subject of the police battalions and their part in the Holocaust.

There are some similarities in fact and story.
