Leroy, how does it compare to the book "No Easy Day" by Marc Owen?

One thing that always bothered me is that voices in the Obama admin took him to task for supposedly releasing "secrets" about the raid, while at the same time the Adminstration was feeding Bigelow (the director) classified information about the raid, without consequence.

Does the film have a political slant/agenda?

Stonemint - Very little of the "prep" work of Seal Team Six is actually shown in the film (but the raid itself is terrific). Instead, it concentrates on the years of effort it took to get to that point, and the "doggedness" of the CIA woman, who just would never quit. The Team comes across as real professionals.

Not getting political here, but I don't think that promoting the Obama administration was the goal of this film (and if it was, it sure didn't convince me). It's just a great depiction of the work which went into this, which went on for years and years. If I was in Al Qaeda, there is a real lesson here: don't screw with America. (I just hope, in today's climate, we would be still be capable, and willing, to repeat this performance.)
