    Flying Messerschmitt BF109-e4 video

    Hi,

I bought a fantastic DVD documentary on the Russel Aviation restored BF109 'emil' the other day but it was in Japanese, so to make it more appealing I threw in a nice soundtrack and recut it to fit inside 5 minutes.

    enjoy!

Ok I will upload to Vimeo soon - I think YouTube doesn't like my using 3rd party soundtracks

                      Nice,

I suppose they're all too old now but I would love to see a video like this with one of the original fighter pilots who flew a Bf109 during the war flying again.

That was pretty goldang cool. The pilot needs a haircut, and an LKpS100! Cool soundtrack too, well done.

Thanks everybody. It's quite amazing actually, I've never seen this footage anywhere and out of the blue, in a tiny, seedy video store in Hong Kong there is a DVD sitting there with all the writing in Japanese with a bleeding yellow nosed 109 on the cover for $5 !! It is a Japanese documentary entirely about this plane in the Russel aviation groups aerodrome in Canada. I just had to repackage it and share!

It depends how long since they flew last time. I think Chuck Yeager owns P51 which he is actively flying.
