Robert is one of the few actors left from Hogans Heroes. He is now 86! And has website with his books and cds etc.
Sadly only a few months ago his co star Richard Dawson aka Newkirk passed away.
He was a big hit in the States with s show Family Feud I think it wad called..
    Are there any others alive?
Saw a doc on Bob Crains murder recently and I couldn't understand , why wasn't John Carpenter found guilty?

    He's the last living member

He's the last living cast member. I'm a fan of the show, and watch the re-runs still today. In 1967 while stationed in California (USMC) I had a chance meeting with John Banner in a Bar in L.A. He was a great guy, and mailed me an autographed photo an few weeks later. I still have it and I smile everytime I look at it. Tom

          Bob Crane was Hogan

@ pasoleati, Bob Crane was the actor who played Col. Hogan on the TV show Hogan's Heroes in the 1960's. Johann (John) Banner played German Feldwebel Hans Georg Schultz. Banner died in his home town on his 63rd birthday in 1973. He had moved back to Austria just a couple on years before he died. No one was ever formally charged in Crane's murder due to lack of sufficient evidence, although they had a prime suspect. Tom
