    Best Available W-SS Books

    I may be going over "old ground" but, I'm wondering if you all may be able to provide me your visions on the best W-SS books available on the market today?

    I have the majority of the Stackpole books dealing weith this. I'd really like to get some of the 1st SS books/histories.

    Do you mean history books on the Leibstandarte ? or first editions of other SS units ?

      If you are looking for detailed text and not a photo book (although there are a small amount of photos in each volume) the detailed multi-volume series on the 'Leibstandarte' written by Rudolf Lehrmann and completed by Ralf Tiemann is a good starting point. Published by Fedorowicz, copies are still available if you shop around.
