The books not bad. No earth shattering new information as such (eg: little information of the years 1936 to 1945) but still a good read with some good pictures about Jakob I have not seen before.

Personally for me it is one of the best books I have bought this year. It's well written, gives clear information and has for me at least unknown photos of the early years of the NSDAP and offcourse Grimminger himself.

                    Must have!

Got my copy and it's great! We know Jakob from numerous photo's, but a good book on him was lacking.
His memoirs added with lots of (new) photo's (Feldherrnhalle) and color photo's of his belongings is a must have!

Thanks for the tip Etienne and for selling me Grimmingers Allach leuchter LOL

A mouth watering addition to anyone's collection. Hope you add it to yours - I know I'd like to add it to mine - what a great way to start a Blood Order collection. I would be happy if I never acquired another!

Its a good book with some nice photographs I have not seen before. An English edition would be good to gem up on the details though. Worth buying

With my 4 years of high school German - 40 years ago now - I could stumble through it. Both Grimminger and Rohm need more things written about them. Both significant early figures that are often neglected. I'm just sorry I sold my Grimminger signed postcard last year. It's very difficult to replace.

Does it mention where the Blutfahne ended up at war's end? I have always been curious about this.
