All,
I know in the last couple of months there have been shipping restrictions on heavy items to Canada. I had a question.
I plan on buying a set of books. The total weight will be quite substantial. Now I have heard from the person that they would have to divide the shipment into sets because, and I quote:
Canada is the only country in the world that does not allow a parcel to be sent over 2Kgs via printed paper and combined weight is 2.1Kgs.
Now does this apply only to airmail? Or does this apply to surface shipping as well? I find this rather odd. What happens to large books? Or can Canada no longer import heavy books lol.
