Really enjoyed watching it and looking at how Patrick's and his elder brother's thinking of their father has changed from their research and new understanding of his father's life during the war.

                Guys,

Glad you enjoyed it, I too thought it was excellent and as Mil has said, watching the brothers in the pub with a greater understanding of their father was fantastic viewing.

                Cheers

                Ian

It can be downloaded from usenet for those that use newsgroups.

A very relevant program for today given the conflicts our fighting men and women are involved in and the increased awareness of PTSD.

He must have been a very good soldier, to get a battlefield promotion to sergeant, then at 38 volunteer for airborne forces and to end up as RSM of 2 para as well.
Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.
