Next 007 movie, back to original concept?

I just saw the trailer of the new Bond movie, Skyfall and it sure looks good old Bond action film, the "quartermaster "Q" do appear in this movie..finaly as well as Bond's new gun...Walther PPK !!!!!......with a personal ID gadget of course.
The the bad guy role is on the hands of Bardem..which he can deliver the classic villian in with flair in my personal opinion...rebember No Country for Old Men movie and his assasin role with the air piston and compress air cilinder?

Look forward to see this new 007 movie, after the very disapointing last one I was begin to believe that the new "Bourne" type approach would kill the new Bond sagas....yea..I still like to have the basics in the 007 movies

    Hopeful

Yes, I am hopeful the new Bond Movie will deliver. Bond is a great concept and I have enjoyed the Series for years.

Now let me take a moment to talk about that piece of garbage called "Quantum of Solace". The worst Bond Movie ever. A Bond Movie requires witty conversation, cool gadgets, hot chicks, a plot you can follow and it absolutely must have a believable Villain. The Villain almost needs to be the Star. It is the machinations of the Villain that put Bond to work to save the World. QOS delivered none of that. How a Director can take a proven Winning Formula and screw it up that bad is way beyond my powers of comprehension.

Mads Mikkelsen was great in "Casino Royale", the Villain in QOS was about as intimidating as Pee-Wee Herman in a pair of Smiley-Face Boxer Shorts.

And I am sure we all enjoy the extensive use of Third Reich Firearms in the early Bond Movies. THe MP-40 was everywhere. My favorite MP-40 Scene was the Granny at the Gate when Bond attempts to escape Goldfinger's Industrial Park in his Aston Martin. Unforgettable!

      I can't disagree.

I think Daniel Craig is a great Bond but QoS was poor.

A Bond film needs to have a plot a 10 year old can follow comfortably. Don't over complicate a winning formula.

I could not have say it better, my opinion exactly on that lame movie QOS...for me is the same mistake in aproach and execution as another terrible Bond movie..in my very personal opinion of course, On Her Majesty Secret Service movie, another BIG mistake and dudd! Even with all the years, vintage Bond movies hold very, very well to new offerings and copycat style movies!!...every time there nothing good on TV...which is a dayly affair....I put one of old 007 movies and enjoy it like it was the fist time...seeing the movie..Herr Doctor!!!!
