Help With German Booklet Please 1944

Has anyone ever seen this before? It appears to be a Soldier's hand booklet that would fit into a breast pocket. Excellent general reference book, filled with a calendar, list of decorations, date book, compass and navigation instructions, world city populations, and even a Russian translation guide. I have never seen another, and I do not know how common these are. Will trade it on the Estand once I figure out what it is. Any help would be apprecaited. Thanks!

Only a few entries at the end of 1944, not sure what they are.

Joe, Merkbuch is, roughly translated, "reminder book". This would be kind of like a Daytimer book where you could list appointments, reminders of dates such as birthday's anniversaries, etc. A lot of these were printed and usually contained some information of an almost almanac like nature to make them even more useful. Not uncommon, though I would think that 1944 would be a much scarcer date than the others.
