Lidice - The Movie

Good evening all,

Just a tip for those with a few hours to kill, who may fancy watching a really good film.

Lidice. We all, or most of us, know the story. Last year's Czech production is a must see. It is both well acted, and superbly produced (the use of colour is very commendable), and the film is also blessed with a laudible score.

For a decent online version, try letmewatchthis. You should find the putlocker link is amongst the best available.

Carl is right, great movie with the sad plot. I think producers put enough money to uniforms and whole military stuff looks allright. If you would like the main character Karel Roden (acted for example in Hellboy) and you´re into 2WW I must recommend you a movie Habermann's Mill.

I used to ride the bus through Licice when going from Kladno, where my long-time girlfriend used to live, to Prague....good times...(sorry a little off topic, but I'll make sure to watch the movie!)
