From what perspective and what time frame?

Well, I work for a news company and I am heading to Libya. Want something that tells me about what was happening there during the war. Not looking for the American, Brit, or german perspective, but rather the history of the campaign.

I assume from the Italian invasion of Egypt in 1940 to the German surrender in 1943?

I am most interested in Libya, but that sounds good. So long as it isn't too large to lug around!
