just finished reading this , very interesting and informative, an insight into the goings on around Himmler and Heydrich ,in some respects some of the secret agent stuff is almost farcical plus not very efficient , i think the Germans where miles behind some of the other countries secret services , nevertheless a fascinating read , one thing that did annoy me was the printers insertionof a disclaimer prior to Schellenberg giving his opinions of Edward viii ! ,i can understand why the British goverment doesn t release certain info til 20 more years if some of what schellenberg hints at is true !

I read that book a few years ago and found it very interesting. I think there is an anecdote about Schellenberg going for a drink with Heydrich who then told him he (Schellenberg) had just been poisoned and that if he wanted the antidote he had to give some straight answers! Plenty of interesting stories in that book.
