Film sounds interesting as its always good to hear/see different points of view.
Agree with Terry. However the Jews in Bengazi were left alone and not sent to the camps, contrary to orders....His Family is right on this one

If there had been any warcrimes in Afrika committed by the Germans we would know all about it. The Allies did commit warcrimes against the DAK in the Afrikan campaign on more than one occasion.

          Hello

The shelling of DAK POW's during the Gazala Battles, June '42 by the Free French Brig, against orders at Bir Hakim. Then again in Tunisia near the surrender the same thing happened again by the Free French, twice.

Another more gruesome incident took place during the Allied breakout at Mersa Matruh late June '42. The Gurkas and some New Zealand forces took no prisoners when a German Hospital unit was overun while attempting to break out of the encirclement. In some cases only knives were used....

The Germans protested on all these occasions but to no avail, no one was investigated for any of them.

By and large the War in Afrika was the War without hate unlike Europe.
But by its very nature, even the African Campaign had its atrocitys.
