"Miracle of the White Stallions" (1963)

I had read about this incident in Toland's The Last 100 Days, but did not realize it had been made into a movie. The story deals with the Head of the Spanish Riding School in Vienna's attempt to save the prized horses from falling into Russian hands (and being either used as work horses, or worse, meat).

Has anyone seen it? The obvious concern is that it is a Disney movie, and was made back in 1963.

I saw it when it came out (boy, am I old) and remember it as a good movie. One thing I'll never forget is Robert Taylor wearing a beautiful cavalry-piped uniform with a great WMC w/swords. Who knows if it was real, but it looked great!
