Is this a textbook hollow zinc Daisy?

    Dear friends,

I just got another silver PAB for my growing collection. Please take a look at those miserable pics and let me know what you think.

    Thanks in advance

    Best regards,
    Al

        Dear Albert,

Keep it in place it's a texbook second pattern Daisy, featuring the third set-up variant for these PAB's

First came the block hinge, then the block hinge on a big rectangular plate and then the wrap arround hinge like the one on your badge.

        A very nice example BTW

PS: looks like your PAB collection is on the right track.

Thanks a lot! Yes Phil, on the right track but still a long way to go. First, I have to catch up with Greg (Just kidding, Greg ), and then try to catch up with you (also kidding ).

            Kindest regards,
            Al

                Hi Al,

Heck, you're real close to me already! I only have 24 here and 3 more on the way, though I did spill over into a second case. Hard to keep up with you guys in Europe! Great collection, I like the PABs best, but not as pretty as what you have in the cased awards!

                Best regards,
                Greg

                  Hi Greg,
Hmh, only 24+3... Easier than I thought... Just give me a day or two

But you know, it's true, I love "those cased ones" more

                  Best regards,
                  Al

                    Dear Albert,

I think this pic might give you an idea about the journey ahead of you. Based upon everything I found out untill now I guess I'm still missing arround 35 of them. That's without counting the cut-out grass variants of course

BTW the open spaces are for:

Left upper drawer : silver buntmetall wurster
Right lower drawer : Bronze first pattern buntmetall hollow Daisy

Philippe Missing 35!!! Yes but No?, once you aquire them, you'll be left with a life time search of continually upgrading the varients to reach your absolute 'Nirvana'...

P.S. great to see a picture with all those little buggers together...
