I hadn't but thanks for mentioning it.

Don't think you can go far wrong with £4 . Once you have watched please let us know what you think.

    Cheers

A great movie based on the award winning novel of Dutch writer Jan Terlouw. The movie also received many Dutch film awards, so you can't go wrong on this one.

        Here is the trailer:

                  Hi,

After reading these posts bought a copy at the local HMV for £3:00!
Quite a bargain, but nowhere near the standard of "The Black Book". But still a very good movie.
Also bought the awesome war epic "Small Soldiers" for the same price - but how do I tell the wife I like this picture?

                  Ha ha

                  Best wishes,

                  John.

I just saw it, and found it sort of slow and plodding, w/o any real attachment to the characters. The RAF pilot was played by some British actor who looked 17 (where's Richard Burton when you need him?).

Much better resistance films of late are Max Manus, Flame & Citron, and of course, the best, Black Book.

I think you got the old one (mini series). From the 70's. That one is bad!! really bad!! The new one is better.
