The Bert Trautmann Story

hi,

I watched this documentary, and was struck by how pleasant and unassuming Bert Trautmann was.
How tragic it must have been for him and his wife to have a child killed in a road accident and the consequences for their family.
Also, it was good to see that the prejudices built up by two World Wars between Britain and Germany were overcome by sport.
Worth watching again!
