    Hello.

I enjoyed it. It's has had mixed reviews.

I think the uniforms stand up, not to mention the star of the film!

pervert atleast she admitted it burnt..But in all honesty i really felt it summed up the last few mths' weeks of the war and the way the german's/nazi whore's were treated it could of shown a lot worse that happened..i've seen a few programmes of the way these ppl were treated in holland and in france and it's was mob rule...

                Black Book the movie

                hi,

Check out "Soldier Of Orange" by the same director, a much more 'conventional' war film, made quite a few years ago starring Rutger Hauer famed for his part in "The Hitcher".
The director, Paul Verhoeven has never shied away from exposing the extent of Dutch collaboration during the war years and also the resistance to nazi occupation shown by the Dutch people.
I think these two movies show that our history cannot be only coloured in black and white.

                Best regards,

                John.
