just read this fascinating book by oberleutnant stahlberg , a junker class aristocrat in the wehrmact , a committed anti -nazi he saw action in Russia then became Mansteins aide,he seemed to know all the july conspirators , indeed he seemed to be related to half of them , a great read from inside the german general staff !
