The Passing of Hermann A. Pfaeffle

I did not know quite where to report this, so I selected the area where his book has been reviewed. I am deeply saddened to report the passing of the author of Into the Den of the Bear, Hermann Pfaeffle. He died this morning 00.55 hrs (German time) age 95 yrs. Don't know what else to report accept that he was a good man and I was happy that he lived to witness his story come to a wider audience. We worked closely together, and he had energy up to the end. What war could not do, time, with its unbiased hand, has completed. Let's remember all our veterans, both living and deceased. May the many that have gone rest in peace.
