Here is a neat book that is authored by a german guy that works in the control tower here at Coleman Barracks, near Mannheim Germany
It traces the airfields history during the Luftwaffe ,the allied bombings and US Army occupation and some historical digging

A very neat book,, local purchase only,,I bought his last copy,,however he might have 13 more next week,,,,If anyones interested,,I might be able to get you a copy,,they are 25 Euros each
