Grabner's charge SS Smock from A Bridge Too Far

Just saw this one up for sale on one of my favorite movie prop sites. Shows how fubar it was but neat pattern none the less and from an iconic film.

    Enjoy.

I used to have one of these about 1980/81 for re-enactment,I think they were to be issued to the bundeswehr but were banned because they resembled the waffen ss pattern,at least that was the story I was told, price then was£18.

Good price. I wonder how this pattern stands up. You can see why the Bundeswehr might have been leary. The cut is pretty much right on for a smock even if the pattern isnt spot on.

      This one is $189.

Costuming always uses a number of the same clothing items. Any pyro or squibs would have been cut into another by using a razor blade to cut an X, charge and blood pack behind this and a small metal plate to prevent burns or injury to the actor. This one was probably just the one seen when he is in the vehicle and not his leap down from the vehicle, dead run and death sequence.
