Hi guys,

Just arrived this book, what my friend wrote and dedicated to me. The title of this book: Into the Den of the Bear. Very good and interesting book from a leutnant, who fought on the East front in the 17th Panzer Division and this soldier fought in my country, too. Hermann Pfaeffle is now 95 years old.

I wish him many more happy years!!!

I finished it a couple of weeks ago and by far the best memior of a German soldier I have ever read! Shoot, I even wrote a review on Amazon which I never have done before.
Very well & beautifully written...a must read IMHO

We know the story of the eastern front. But here we can read about one men's feelings,remebrances.
