Most Tasteful German WWII Memorial on Youtube

I had cooperation from a number of forum members who are credited at the end of this video. I had it linked through another thread a few years ago, but my channel was suspended, interestingly enough nothing NAZI related, and the link was no longer attached to the video.

So here it is for the photo guys to enjoy. There are some epic photos in the video, but mostly very rarely seen stuff. Enjoy.

        Interesting choice of music?

Of course you know that music is most associated with the death of Franklin D. Roosevelt though it was written some time before by the American composer Samuel Barber.

Thanks guys. Max Schneider, memorialized at the end, was an uncle that died at the battle of Monte Casino. Actually a few days before. He was Gebirgsjager.

                  spelling error?

                  Stephan,
Go to 8:20 and check the spelling. Otherwise a very moving presentation. It always gives me ambivalent feelings when I see the losses the German's suffered during the war yet also remember the images of smiling and laughing soldiers marching into Austria, Memel district, Sudetenland, taking the lowlands, Norway, France, etc. They had no problem conquering in Hitler's name but were quick to curse him in defeat. My mother's family was from Germany. She was born in the US. Her entire family was lost during the war. After studying it for 50 plus years I still don't understand how a nation of people like myself and my family allowed it all to happen.
                  Mike
