I have finished reading 'The perfect Nazi' by Martin Davidson.
A quick brief, Martin Davidson's grandfather was in the SA, various NSDAP organisations, the SS, the Wehrmacht and the SD. Davidson investigated his grandfather and how he eventually ended the war in Czecheslovakia (sp).
I liked the book, although parts were descriptions of the Nazi regime most here would be familiar with. The SA chapter was very intresting.
I understood the feelings of having a relative connected to the above organisations but felt the granfathers' personality was more of an impact on the family.
A good book.
