Werner Haupt Books: Should I purchase?

I'm thinking of purchasing the series of books by Werner Haupt

Army Group North: The Wehrmacht in Russia 1941-1945

Army Group Centre: The Wehrmacht in Russia 1941-1945

Army Group South: The Wehrmacht in Russia 1941-1945

as a basis for the history of the German Army in Russia.

Would members be prepared to recommend or otherwise these references or even submit other books in their place.
