Is Hein Severloh's book "WN72" available in English?

    Thanks, Eric

It was not last time I checked, and I do not understand why as this book is a classic. I started a lobg thread about it a couple of years back: http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...light=severloh

Did you like the book? I would love to hear the battle from the German perspective as not many accounts are in existance that I know of. Just curious--didn't know it was a classic.

It is not a classic, but I mean... it should be!
I read it in french and liked it very much. Just agood war book, easy to read, and as I said in the other thread, reading about things from a German perspetive is always very interesting and refreshing.

There was a plan to publish it in English but I never heard what happened. This is another one, I meet with Franz several times in the 1980s and talked about his experiences.
