To mark the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britain this year, a new book - Voices from the Battle of Britain - is being released in July by author Henry Buckton.
The book is a recollection of events told by the people involved in the battle from the fighter pilots who took to the skies, to those who worked on barrage balloons, ack-ack guns and everything in between.
It is available from the publisher, David and Charles and also through Amazon.
A DVD of the book is currently being made and will be released in due course.
Henry is a colleague and a successful author in the U.K writing many wartime and social history books. The stories he's told of the veterans involved during the writing of this book have been very entertaining so I would recommend this to anyone with an interest in the Battle of Britain.
