    Grossdeutschland references

Does anyone have a set of the new Grossdeutschland references by Scott Pritchett?

It seems there was one set (of 3 vols.) at the SOS as a sneek-peek display, but the books for sale were not in from China yet.

Anybody get a set yet..?? Thoughts..??

    Cheers, John

I looked at the display set at the SOS and, even though I don't collect Army material at all, I resolved to bite the bullet and buy all three volumes when it came out. It looked like one of the finest set of books I have seen in a very long time.

        That looks extensive! (and expensive!)

I think it will be worth it if you are interested in Grossdeutschland.

I received my set of books from Jack Hatter a few days ago. I haven't had a chance to read them yet but I did thumb through them and they look great. I think anyone interested in Heer items would find this set useful, not just the GD collector.

I am very much looking forward to this set as well.

I primarily a document collector, can anyone comment on this aspect of the series.

                Thanks,
                John

There are many examples of documents, wehrpaß and soldbuch in the 3 volumes. There are even a couple of pages of just signatures in vol 2.

Apparantly the publishers are already asking Scott to consider doing an addendum to these volumes.

Isn't the author a member here? If so, I would buy the full set autographed.
