I picked up a new book at the Show of Shows that really goes into detail about the production and variations of the German Kar98k in the last months of World War 2. It is named "Kriegsmodel" by Michael Steves and Bruce Karem and I must say that if you liked "Backbone of the Wehrmacht" you will love this one. It is a very in-depth study of this very interesting topic.
It is over 400 pages and I found it hard to put down. It is not often that I recommend a book but I recommend this without reservation!
One of the authors is a member here and perhaps he will let members know where they can get their own copies.
