Hi! I found the following pictures of a film apparently about the life and times of Rochus Misch? Can anyone provide more details? It looks interesting! Also, any news on when his book will be out in English?

Wow, thanks for the heads up. Looking forward to this. Also, I never knew the SS were part of the crew who lifted the border post between Germany and Poland. In a couple of photos there are a significant number of SS troopers mixed in with regular Heer troops lifting the pole demarcating the border.

I was never aware of that either... first I had heard of it or seen any pictures (recreated or original). It said that filming started in Fall of 08, but there was no title of the movie, no release date and I could not find any other info about it on the internet... would be very interested in anything that anyone else knew... Matt
