    ANyone read book by O.Carius?

Book entitled "Tigers in the mud" by O.Carius, Ritterkreuz trager. Has anyone read it? Is it any good?

I'm in the process of finishing the book right now. I have enjoyed the book very much. It gives you a great insight into how a Tiger unit operated and fought on the Eastern Front. When you read Otto's accounts of the battles they fought it's amazing how long they managed to hold off the hordes of Russian tanks and infantry. I recommend the book, two thumbs up

I'm reading it now. I'm surprised at the sketchy details of his career from 1940-1943, but its brilliant on the Tiger tank actions. And it's got copies of his award docs in the back-including his "75" PABZ and his oaks.
