    Movie 'Lebanon', tank warfare!

I was at a film festival last night and happened to see an Israeli movie called 'Lebanon', and was very pleased to have seen it.
The movie is supposed to occure during the first day of the invasion of Lebanon on 6 june 1982, and follows the life of a tank crew during about 24 hours. The movie is exclusevely filmed from within the tank. I find this is an exelent idea, I dont know why no other movies (to my knowleadge) have ever been made like this.
It is the first tank movie I have ever seen and also the first movie about the Lebanon war I have ever seen. Although the technical details of tank life may not all be correct, and a few scenes were a bit ridiculous/artsy shmarty, I would rate the movie as being VERY GOOD! It won the Golden Lion at the Venise Film Festival. I think it has enaugh action to satisfy the "Saving private Ryan" types, and enaugh 'phylosophy' to satisfy the "Thin Red Line" and "Requiem for a Massacre" types.
I think anybody who likes a good war movie will defenetly enjoy this movie. The movie is in Hebrew, with a bit of English and Arab.
