Anyone familiar with this British series from the late 70's? I have watched three episodes thus far and have enjoyed them all very much. If you like Danger UXB, I would highly recommend the current BBC series Foyle's War. It is first-rate! Michael Kitchen and the rest of the cast are superb!!

Blimey ! thats going back a while !!! ... but I remember it well !!
Another series shown in the early 70's was "Pathfinders" .... it was only shown once, ... and never seems to have been repeated !
It seems to have surfaced as a DVD ....

So if your into the 70's WW2 Tele Drama's, .. might be worth getting ..

I remember watching Danger UXB as a kid, Sgt Ash and all and I have since obtained it on DVD.
Apparantly, after the episode about the Butterfly Bombs was shown the authorities starting receiving numerous phone calls from people saying that they had such things in their attics, lodged up in the rafters all those years but until the episode was shown they had no idea what they were!!

The two series of Secret Army get repeated on the "Yesterday" channel via freeview approx once a year or so ...
.. But as a series, it is quite all right ! .. Gerald Glaister who was behind the series was I believe an "escaper" in real life ..
Only thing is, ... you expect Rene out of Hello Hello to burst in at any time !
