The primary volume is a list of all holders with unit, rank, and date awarded

      Does it tell their story?
Or is it merely a list?

Book is a list only, there are thousands.

For their complete story if SS and Police holders, see these:

          You are a helpfull member.

This was going to be my next question.
I have noticed these books you are posting. Have you read them?
I'm looking for a good read on DKIG holders. So if these mens biography is 1page or half a page long, i would not buy it.
If their story is bit more elaborate, i would be interested to get these, or possibly the first 2 volumes.

The books by Mark Yerger are definitely worth buying. Some stories are short but most are long and a ton of good pictures.

For the Christmas holidays, i'm thinking: christmastree, burning fire, glas of old cognac, these DKIG books, and gazing at a few originals.
              How does that sound?

              Thanks guys.

All data that could be found from a wide range of sources are included for each individual in my volumes. Also in depth data on the unit's commanders, Ia, development of components, predecessor/successor information and a lot of other relative data explained to fully understand the career information given. If the award recommendation survived, it is included. The series is by unit in the case of Gold holders, not alphabet. The Silver awards volumes covers all holders. Each volume includes an addendum with new data or photos found since previous volumes were released. I shipped completed next Gold volume (#5) to the publisher 4 days ago. A big relief.

                Best,
                Mark
