Hi there ,hope some of you clever chaps can help please ,
My daughter who is 12 years old has a great interest in military history and is enjoying learning about the second world war at school ( now they are allowed to teach it again )
she has to do a project examining the effects on children and instead of picking a UK subject she came up with the idea about doing her project on the german orphans in Berlin in the 12 months after the wars end , how they lived where they got food how they survived in general after the countries collapse.
As she came up with this idea herself i really wish to encourage her , please can any one point me in the right direction regarding books etc
i have a few books ` the Berlin Bunker ` etc but nothing that covers the main area , any help would be great ,many thanks ,Michael.
