Eagle Bookends

You can find these Frankart eagle bookends on eBay.................made in the 1930s in the USA. The company was founded by a German, and the eagles (to me) look like the Nazi diplomatic/government type. Very art deco.
Bronze and not expensive when you can find them.

I think someone also made another post on these eagle bookstands some time ago i remembered. some of these eagles were more american like and some more towards an art deco stylised base. the german lookalikes seemed to be more detailed with an emphasis on the talons and claws. JMHO.
