It's a miniseries just like Band of Brothers, to be broadcasting by HBO.

Tom Hanks attended the d-day remembrance in france this year, i guess he must thinking quite allot about the veterans whilst working on this project.

I don't think that Youtube censors stuff in real time. I just went and typed in "The Pacific Trailer" and selected "added today", and watched the latest posted video. For those interested, it will probably be a continuous cycle like this until the movie comes out. I too would think that they would want people to see the preview?
