I visited a local 'old book' store earlier this week and picked up two books from under the glass. Wondering how well I did?
1) 'The Daggers and Edged Weapons of Hitler's Germany' by Major James P. Atwood. 1965 - 1st Edition and signed by the author, thanking the recipient for his help in writing the book. Excellent condition with plastic book cover.
2) Weapons of the Third Reich - An Encyclopedic Survey of All Small Arms, Artillery and Special Weapons of the German Land Forces 1939-1945. Terry Gander and Peter Chamberlain and published in 1979. Excellent Condition with plastic book cover.
I paid $200 for both books. I haven't had a chance to look up if I overpaid, but the books caught my eye and really have some interesting daggers and firearms that were unknown to me prior.
So, how did I do?
* PS - I am not interested in selling...
