The First Clash of the Special Forces

Colleagues; I am very happy that I can anounce the completion of our book project about the "Incident at Jebel Sherif". It lasted 3 years but now it is done!

We have prepared a very detailed account about thestoy and have the views from both parties involved.

Please check out our website for further details:

It looks very interesting. I particularly like that then and now view of the wrecked vehicles: outstanding!

      well put

      Excerpt from author's foreward

" Of course you could say that it is only something that has been thrown away a long time ago; it is only a piece of waste. But it is much more than that; in fact it opens a gateway to the past as soon as you start to ask yourself questions about who may have thrown it away. "

I like the way you think, and very well put. This is how I feel about much that I find, myself.

are those trucks in the desert property of a government?

they would look amazing on display in a museum.

I am amazed. The book looks excellent. On the order page there is a photo from 1942 with a burnt out Chevy truck and the same exact photo from 2006. When I'm done moving this month, I'll order a copy for sure.

I am very happy - I got only positive, if not to say enthusiastic feedback. Not only from 'normal' readers but as well from sons of LRDG members and even from LRDG vetrans.
