Hello folks,
Since today is June 6 and the 65th Anniversary of D-Day I thought I would share this. My mother saw the film The Longest Day (it is tradition in our home to watch it every June 6th) and purchased this book in the movie theater lobby.

I thought I would share some color photos from this B&W film.

Although not in color here is a cool shot of Hans Christian Blech as Major Werner Pluskatt after the strsfing attack. He was in good enough shape to later serve under Robert Shaw in The Battle of the Bulge.

Good stuff Jody. I've got a VHS tape of the movie in the colorized version as well as the standard DVD B&W release.

yeah irelands main tv station RTE when ever they show the longest day(june 6th mostly) they ALWAYS show the colour version!! if someone transfers it to dvd could i get a copy(i know its bold but if they made a clour dvd id buy it for sure!!!)
