    About the desert war

Hello everybody, I recently got interested in the desert war while reading the actions of Johannes Kummel in Panzer aces II. Is there a book that tells the entire story of the desert war, with good photos and maps? is there a definite book about the desert war? in few words, what should I buy?
    thanks in advance.

      Hello Nicoo

Paul Carell's "The Foxes of the Desert". No maps just stories from the solders from both sides. Easy read covering the entire campaign.
The best book for details is Thomas Jentz's "Tank Combat in North Africa"covers the first campaign through Battelaxe offensive. Great photos and maps, OB's, & TOE details from the after action reports etc. Some would say too technical, but i found it fascinating and thought provoking. Too bad he never finished the followup of the later period.
