This is one of the best norwegian movies (and expensive) ever made.
I grew up with Max Manus books given to me from my grandfather who was in german captivity during ww2.
A darm good and realistic move based on the books of Max`s life.
Much original german wehicles too...
You guys will really like this movie.
(If it had been a Hollywood movie it would not have given a realistic picture of
the actual history as it would have all the cliche`s as in Pearl Harbour and rewriting of the piss poor defence crediting a hero with many shot down enemy plains.
Max would have been portrated by a van Dame guy chasing the Wehrmacht out of Norway with his faithful hangarounds in an endless orcestra of explosions and full auto fire.
Not many Hollywood heroes portrated with warnerves and alcohol problems).

... and I've just seen the movie (although I don't know Norwegian...), but the history can be understood. A very nice film... As for the setting and the combat scenes: perfect.
